The natural world is at the heart of everything we do. As adventurists, it’s where we play, it’s where we make memories, and it’s where we take care of our health and wellbeing. In return, we need to show it the same level of respect.
For that reason alone, we’re proud to say we’ve partnered with like-minded organisation Ecologi in support of their plant a tree scheme, to show our appreciation and to give back what we take from nature.
What is 'Plant a Tree' and how does it work?
With Ecologi’s help, we will plant one tree for every purchase and one tree for every sign-up to our newsletter, in some of the world’s most endangered habitats.
It’s a way we can replenish the Earth’s natural resources while reducing our carbon footprint.
And in the interests of transparency, you can even see where in the world your tree has been planted. Just visit the tree counter on Ecologi’s website to see satellite pictures and receipts for all tree planting activities.

Every new sign-up means another tree planted and that’s music to our ears.
What else are we doing to reduce our carbon footprint?
We’re not ones to rest on our laurels. While planting trees is a step in the right direction, we know there’s still work to be done to make Bluefin more sustainable.
That’s why we’re analysing our current manufacturing methods and seeking to incorporate recycled materials wherever possible in our products.
In addition, we’re busy putting measures in place to reduce the amount of packaging sent out to customers.
